The Legoland Theme Park in Carlsbad California is one of the best places in the world you can take your kids. Located in California, it offers more than 60 incredible rides for children of all ages, and various shows and attractions that go on over the course of the day. This resort features a couple of different sections, including the Sea Life aquarium and and a brand new Legoland water park that opened in May of 2010.
You get cars shaped like lego cars the kids can drive around on like bumper cars and have the time of their life. The Sea Life aquarium center allows children to get up close and personal with sea life and watch in amazement. There are amazing creatures they will touch and admire.
Of course you can’t forget the fun in the water play park. Kids love to splash around and they will always have lots of fun in the water park going down water slides.
The actual Legoland part of the Legoland Resort has its own super water play park where you can go tubing as a family and relax; kids can actually build their own raft and there are so many fun water slides and tunnels in the water park for them to check out.

Depending on how many days you want to take the kids back, you may want to find proper accommodation to stay overnight. Besides staying in the actual resort which is the best idea because you will be closest to the fun and not have to waste driving time in the morning, there are plenty of hotels and motels to choose from.
