This is one of those rare cities that never has what you would call a peak season. There is always something exciting to do in the big city; it never closes. Most natives of the city would agree that spring and the fall are the best times to visit. During those seasons the weather normally ranges anywhere from the low 50s to around 70 degrees.
No matter where you live in the world getting to NYC is never a problem. There are several options; you have a large international airport known as JFK, and right across the river you have another airport known as Newark Liberty. If you live nearby and just wish to visit the city for the day, Amtrak trains would be the ideal mode of transportation.
If you have been considering visiting NYC it is recommended that you contact the New York Conventional and Visitors Bureau Information Center. This will allow you to see the current activities and events going on in the city, and help you prepare the perfect family vacation.
NYC is one of the most ethnically diverse and densely populated cities in the world. New York consists of five boroughs: the Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island.
